This design investigates and evaluates the potential of a North London yard site.  The strategy is to work with the courtyard character of the site, with principal rooms of a single-storey volume wrapping and addressing a private outside space and introducing further daylight and ventilation with carefully located roof lights nearer the perimeter of the footprint.
